FilipM. Currently driving a Grande Punto Sport 1.4 T-JET, and comming from the Starjet (which looked better in Carribean Orange ) there's a massive difference. This is my 3rd Punto so far, I had a MK2 1.2 16V, then a Grande 1.4 16V, now the T-JET. Got my t-jet from the Fiat dealer with 1800km on it, I've just passed 6500 now.

As the revs rise the turbo builds up boost, but eventually the pressure gets too much for the wastegate, and it opens, letting the boost pressure out, and that's why it drops off at the higher RPM, I'd say the drop starts at about 4.5k RPM.

Yesterday a client of mine brought a Fiat Bravo 1400 Turbo 2009 year with 150HP to my repair shop! He has a problem with the acceleration! While driving at around 2000-2500 rpm suddenly the acceleration pedal wont respond to command! Just bought a Fiat Bravo 1.4 T-Jet 150hp Sport 2008 with 237000km. As you would guess the car has a little bug here and there but I guess nothing major, or so I hope, but I wonder if its like a standard issue on these cars and how to fix it. Bug#1.
